Connect a custom domain

You need a plan that includes custom domains. See the pricing page.

1. Open Settings > Domain.
2. Choose who manages your domain's DNS (for example GoDaddy, Cloudflare or Namecheap) and enter your domain. Use a subdomain like book.yourstudio.com if you can. A bare domain like yourstudio.com doesn't work with GoDaddy. See bare domain or subdomain.
3. Choose Connect. You will see two records to add: a CNAME (or ALIAS for a bare domain on some providers) and a TXT record that proves you own the domain.
4. Add both records where you manage DNS. Many providers add your domain's ending for you, so type only the first part of the name. Typing the whole name can double it and the record won't be found.
5. If you use Cloudflare, set the CNAME to DNS only (grey cloud).
6. Wait. We check every hour, and you can choose Check now. The status goes from Waiting for DNS to Getting certificate to Live.
7. Choose whether the domain opens your landing page or your booking page, and save.
